TRADITIONAL LACE > Chantilly lace

CHANTILLY LACE is a delicate light flat lace made of woven motifs connected by areas of woven net.

This style of lace dates back to the 17th century, and is named after the French city of Chantilly, though this lace was more commonly made in other areas of France and Belgium.

Chantilly lace gives a light romantic feel ideal for trims on lighterweight summery fabrics or for wedding and bridal use.
