I'm sad AND mad today.
I started Mokshatrim out of a passion for unique trims and a desire to share beautiful haberdashery items with fellow craft enthusiasts,
Our collection of art designer ribbons, ethnic trims, and cultural pieces from around the World has always been about connecting people EVERYWHERE through craftsmanship and creativity.
But I'm afraid I have no choice, I can no longer send items out to my wonderful customers in the European Union and Northern Ireland.
It's all about the new General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). It comes into effect on December 13 2024.
I'm sure you've heard about it from other small businesses too. Or if not, I'm sure you will do.
Why This Change?
The GPSR regulations introduce new requirements for businesses selling products to EU consumers.
These regulations, the EU deem crucial for consumer safety, pose considerable difficulties for small businesses like mine, requiring detailed compliance paperwork.
For some businesses, with standardised products, this information may be readily available.
Unfortunately I do not have the required information for all of my products and individual product testing is just not practical. So I have no choice really.
What This Means:
We can no longer ship our beautiful trims and ribbons to EU countries
Northern Ireland orders are also affected due to current trade arrangements
PLEASE NOTE - Our UK mainland customers and customers in other countries remain unaffected by these changes.

I'm so sorry.
Your support has meant a lot. I always do a little dance when I send an item to a new country. Not sending items to you is the last thing I want to do. It goes against my ethos completely.
You've embraced our diverse range of cultural trims and been an integral part of my journey.
I really hope this is a temporary goodbye. I'll continue to explore ways to serve you again in the future.
